Waste Reduction in the Winery

This tailgate meeting is about reducing, reusing, recycling, and preventing pollution at the winery. Winemaker Fintan Du Fresne will give a tour of the recently SIP Certified Chamisal Vineyards winery facility showing some of their waste reduction and recycling practices.
Attendees will then be shuttled to the Cold Canyon Landfill for a tour of the San Luis Obispo County Integrated Waste Management Authority Recycling Facility and the Cold Canyon Landfill by Mike di Milo.
NOTE: Closed-toe shoes are required for the tour of the Recycling Facility and the Cold Canyon Landfill. Shade and water are not available; bringing sunscreen and water is recommended.
