This year's tour features keynote speaker Karen Ross, Secretary of California Department of Food and Agriculture. We will visit a variety of winery and vineyard facilities to discuss energy and water conservation, the recent severe frost event, SLO County economic clusters, among other hot topics.
Co Sponsored by the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance and Central Coast Vineyard Team, this annual event provides an opportunity for agency, industry, and academic experts to exchange information about issues affecting the community.

9:30am Arrive at Woodland Vineyard – Buena Vista Drive
Upon arrival, industry experts will lead you through a presentation on the significant frost event in April, why this was so atypical, what methods of frost protection are available and why some methods worked better than others, what challenges has this event caused for this growing season and how will the industry adapt. 10:45am Arrive at Niner Wine Production Facilities | 2750 Anderson Lane

Learn about current trends in supply and demand, how the recession has impacted wine marketing, and how deficit planting leading to more opportunity for local branding.
