This meeting covers two topics: the European Grapevine Moth (EGVM) and irrigation system maintenance. Presenters and attendees will share tips and tricks for maintaining irrigation systems and keeping an eye out for invasive pests. 
 
This meeting will bring  together experts, boots-in-the-field irrigators, and vineyard managers to share their knowledge and experience with drip irrigation system maintenance and repair. Intended for those who depend on, operate or repair drip irrigation systems in vineyards. In addition, the intention is to raise awareness of invasive pests. 
 
Laura Ramage and Samuel Bettien from the SLO County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office will talk about the EGVM, the CDFA trapping program for EGVM, and what to look for in the field. 
 
Jacob Hernandez of JH Ag Consulting and Ben Burgoa of the Resource Conservation District of Monterey County will lead the discussion as the group looks at various irrigation system  maintenance and repair issues  Jacob and Ben will talk about some common problems with irrigation systems and how to address them while encouraging attendees to share their knowledge and experience.
 
This special meeting will be in Spanish and English.
