CPR & First Aid for Supervisors(Grower)

Now is a great time to document your certification for your IIPP. This valuable training geared specifically towards supervisors will review current CPR and first aid procedures. Offered in both English and Spanish, attendees will receive adult CPR and first aid cards valid for two years. The training is an EMS course provided by Pan American Insurance, and will cover the following topics:

• How to survey emergency scene to determine what to do next;
• Assisting a victim who is choking, conscious, and unconscious;
• How to administer rescue breathing;
• Checking a victim for life threatening conditions;
• Signs and symptoms of a heart attack;
• How to perform CPR;
• Caring for a victim who is in shock;
• How to assist a victim who becomes suddenly ill;
• The proper procedure for controlling bleeding;
• Caring for burns;
• Injuries to muscles, bones, and joints; 
• Injuries to head and neck;
• Heat stress emergency;
• Emergency action plan

Participants are required to demonstrate their understanding of the above listed tasks by conducting rescue breathing and CPR procedures on a training mannequin and other first aid tasks.
