Field Day: Understanding Vine Mealybug Control(CCVT)

Join us from 9am - 11:30am for a morning out in the vineyard to discuss integrated pest management approaches to mealybug control.  Mission Trails vineyard is a part of a CCVT demonstration using mating disruption and Argentine Ant bait stations.  Bart Haycroft of Kendall-Jackson will give an introduction to the Kendall-Jackson vineyard and vine mealybug history at the site.  Michael Krebsback of Suterra will discuss mating disruption for new VBM tools.  Gaylene Ewing of CCVT will talk about constructing and installing bait stations and an overview of CCVT mealybug IPM projects.  Attendees will be constructing their own bait stations, materials provided.  A round table discussion and BBQ lunch on the lawn will follow.  Free to CCVT members.  $20 for non-members.  Lunch included.  2.5 hours of Ag Waiver and DPR continuing education units applied for.  Please bring your own chair as we will be in the field.  Click HERE to RSVP.
