From Then to Now: Still Learning Together | Quarterly Update from Beth
I recently came across a photograph from over 10 years ago. It’s one of our Tailgate (field) meetings showing a group of farmers gathered in a vineyard, deep in conversation.

It didn’t take long to find a photo from 2025: a different vineyard, new faces and some familiar ones, but the same spirit. A group of growers sharing what they’re working on so everyone can learn.

That’s what makes the Vineyard Team community so unique. Our founding members started this organization back in 1994 to create a platform where the wine industry could learn from one another and grow stronger together.
That spirit hasn’t changed. In fact, one of the top things we hear from members is that being part of this group is the best way to stay connected; to hear what’s working (and what’s not) for others so they can improve their own operation.
"Even in a tough year, staying with Vineyard Team is a no-brainer. The networking alone helps me stay connected, stay informed, and stay ahead. I’d tell any grower: if you want to know what’s coming and how others are handling it, this is where you find out."
- Andrew Heilbrun, Presqu’ile Wines
Today, we’re still in the field, still face-to-face, and still working with the grower community to deliver one of the most valuable parts of your membership.
We’re already launching the 2026 Tailgates, and we can’t wait to be back out in the vineyard with you.
