Are you using modern technologies to maximize efficiency on your farm or ranch? Come learn how at this tailgate style workshop presented by the Upper Salinas Las Tablas Resource Conservation District in Paso Robles. Bring your smart phones, tablets and laptops or just follow along as experts from the field demonstrate how to use GIS and GPS applications available to you. From mapping crop boundaries to recording pest information, you will learn how to collect and use data from the field. A good course for resource managers wanting a better understanding of using new technology in the field (land owners, farmers & ranchers encouraged to attend). Presenters include Kelly Bobbitt from Mike Bobbitt and Associates and Russ Linhart from Trimble.
